1. Introduction

Aimerce.io ("Aimerce", "we", "us", or "our") is a software-as-a-service platform that helps e-commerce businesses automate product listings and advertising campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our platform at aimerce.io.

By using Aimerce, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use Aimerce:

• Account data — email address and password (hashed) used to create your account.
• Integration credentials — Shopify API tokens and Meta access tokens you connect to Aimerce. These are stored encrypted and used solely to operate the platform on your behalf.
• Product data — dropship supplier URLs, product images, AI-generated content, and ad creatives generated through our platform.
• Usage data — actions you take within the platform (launches, settings changes) for debugging and service improvement.
• Meta data — when you connect Meta Login, we receive your Meta user ID, name, email, and access to your ad accounts, pages, and pixels as permitted by you during the OAuth flow.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and provide the Aimerce platform and its features.
• To create Shopify product listings and Meta ad campaigns on your behalf.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To improve our AI models, prompts, and platform performance.
• To communicate with you about your account or service updates.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting outside of your own campaigns.

4. Third-Party Services

Aimerce integrates with and sends data to the following third-party services to deliver its functionality:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU region). Privacy Policy
• Shopify — product listing creation via the Shopify Admin API. Privacy Policy
• Meta (Facebook) — ad campaign creation via the Facebook Marketing API. Privacy Policy
• KIE.ai — AI image and video generation. Product images are sent to KIE.ai for processing.
• OpenRouter / Anthropic — AI text generation for product descriptions and ad copy.
• Vercel — platform hosting and infrastructure. Privacy Policy

5. Meta Login & Permissions

When you connect your Meta account, Aimerce requests the following permissions:

• ads_management — to create and manage ad campaigns on your behalf.
• ads_read — to read your ad account data.
• pages_read_engagement — to use your Meta Page as the ad identity.
• pages_show_list — to show your available Pages for selection.

We only access your Meta data to perform actions you explicitly trigger within Aimerce. We do not post to your Page or access data unrelated to ad campaign management.

You can revoke Aimerce's access at any time via Meta Settings → Apps and Websites.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active Aimerce account. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Product data and generated creatives are deleted immediately when you delete a product from the dashboard.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS, and role-based access controls. API tokens and access credentials are stored encrypted in our database. No sensitive credentials are ever logged or exposed in client-side code.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

9. Cookies

Aimerce uses only functional cookies required for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
